At Naseeha Mental Health we’re here to listen and support you. We serve you through a free 24 hour helpline, a therapy program an education and development programs throughout the year.  Our mission is help you.

Our trained and compassionate team is ready to take your call, offering a confidential ear and a heart full of understanding.

We draw inspiration from the teachings of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), who said, “The believer who helps his brother in need, Allah will be there in his time of need.” (Sahih Muslim). At Naseeha Mental Health, we are inspired by the the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) who was known for his empathy and compassion toward others. He said, “The most beloved of people to God are those who are most beneficial to people” (Tirmidhi) In this spirit, we are committed to supporting anybody through their most challenging times.

We are now the first ever 24-hour, 7 days a week Islam-inspired Helpline for those facing severe mental and emotional distress.

Our calls from:

  • Women enduring abusive relationships,

  • Children in danger,

  • Individuals feeling isolated anxious and lonely,

  • And those grappling with so much pain and mental pain they’re considering suicide and in some cases have attempted suicide.

We are here for our community —day and night all year round. Our trained, dedicated team offers a listening ear and a helping hand, embodying the Hadith’s message of mutual support and strength. Thanks to our donors’ kindness, we’ve answered 90% of calls in the last six months, providing comfort and guidance when it’s needed most. Workplaces and educational institutions are contributing to alarming instances of anxiety and depression among Canadian Muslims due to its failure to equally recognize and support communities affected by the conflict

Today, Naseeha Mental Health has reported a staggering 600% surge in helpline calls from Muslim Canadians, along with others who are experiencing anxiety and marginalization in their schools and workplaces related to the ongoing conflict in Israel and Gaza.

Calls received on the helpline bring attention to a troubling pattern. While many schools and workplaces have rightfully acknowledged the pain and mental distress experienced by many since Oct 7th, they routinely fail to recognize and support workers and students who are equally impacted by the news of civilian casualties in Gaza. In the worst cases, these institutions are actively suppressing and silencing the
